South Hill Rock

Went diving with Candice today at South Hill Rock today which is about 20-30 minutes boat ride from Tg Aru (Beach Bum's jetty and STAR). Nice weather. Good sea condition. Viz ok. What more can we asked for? We dived with Hoak (the dive centre director) and Charlie (a trainee dive master). The site was just so-so: meaning the corals weren't great but we did saw many interesting things there such as the oh-so-famous flying gurnard (supposedly on the road to extinction), juvenile pinnate batfish, nudibranch, porcupine fish, lionfish, sting ray, pyjama cardinal fish etc etc. I was the only one who spotted the pyjama cardinal fish; even Hoak looked at me with disbelief when I told him I saw it ;)
