work
- i guess one of my barely there acheivement was passing my part 1 a paper. passing the part 1b would be nice but shit happens. after 2 and a half hours for the first paper, my brains we numb, i was hungry and cold.
- spent 7 months in hell aka oncology ward. honestly it wasnt as bad as it sounds but working wt that oncologist makes it terrible. i dont mind the procedures, i dont mind busy wt ward and clinic, i really dont mind the patients koz they are sweet really, BUT just dont give me the oncologist. Dr A, please come back soon!
- working in the onco ward also made me closer to my patients. sadly i lost a few of them and i was quite close to come of them. rest in peace adiks.
- as for the other half of the year, i was mainly in NICU or PICU. if i were to choose, i choose NICU in a heartbeat. I think i know what i want to do in the future...*crosses fingers*
mr BF
- i think i cried less this year. but the feeling of missing him is still the same. distance sucks big time but im glad we made efforts to meet up. i'm glad he came back at least 3 times this year
- time spent together is so precious to us. at times i wish time would just stand still for the 2 of us
- yes baby i promise you we would be sitting by the beach watching the waves 5 years from now. i love you
health
- in march i had a really bad flare of urticaria, so bad that i was on MC for a week. at that time i was so desperate for a relief from the itch and pain of the urticaria that i think i OD on anti histamines. i was also very scared that i would develop laryngoedema which would cause difficulty in breathing. all's good now and i've not had an attack anymore since then. i still dont know what triggered it
travels
- went to bali in may. i had a blast with my friends. shopping, visiting the temples, surfing. it was all good
- melbourne trip in august was the highlight. as much as i couldnt stand the cold in melb, i really missed it when i got back. i had TONNES of fun with my gals, so much that i would do it all over again in a wink...
diving
- sadly, no diving this year... :(
