Life's bitter sweet. about a year ago, I was dying to do paeds in HL. Unfortunately I got sent to KM instead. And now, after some persuasion from friends, I (half-heartedly) applied to HL and surprisingly got it. Now I'm freaking out. I'm so totally not prepared to enter the world of oncalls, ward rounds, clinics, CME and not forgetting the oh-so-frightful Grandrounds with The Boss.
Like a close friend once said, "We are little goldfishes swimming leisurely in our own tiny bowl, being picked out and thrown into a sea of phiranas (sp?)".
That totally describe our situation.
But I thought phiranas lived in rivers?
Sigh...*freaking out and pulling hair*
